Afriyie has a thorough understanding of Investment Management and Administration business; skills acquired from direct field experience. He pioneered the establishment of Axis Pensions and the creation of systems, structures and operational strategies that have seen Axis become a leading pension provider in Ghana.

Matthew Mani
Matthew is the Group Financial Controller of Axis. He has over 13 years’ experience in treasury, taxation, financial reporting and management controls. He also has financial and management experience in health, real estate and private media broadcasting sectors. He is a Chartered Accountant with the ACCA (UK) and CA (Gh). Matthew Mani is a product of the University of Ghana Business School with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting Option) and an MBA in Finance from the University of Ghana Business School.
